Legitimate Demands 2 (Demands to Barack Obama)

Adam Gadahn ('Azzam al-Amriki, "The American"), Al-Qa'ida Central's (AQC) most public American face, is featured in a new video message produced by the group's media outlet, the Al-Sahab (The Clouds) Media Foundation and just released today. The video message is entitled, "Legitimate Demands 2: Barack's Dilemma" and it is, as the title suggests, in the form of a lecture or "advice" to the president of the United States, Barack Obama. The video also features, as does the advertising GIF, a clip of the Jordanian doctor Humam (sometimes transliterated as "Hamam") al-Balawi, the double-agent who carried out a kamikaze bombing on December 30, 2009 inside a US military base in Khost, Afghanistan which killed seven US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operatives and a Jordanian intelligence officer who was also a member of that country's royal family, the Hashemites. The clip is taken from a lengthy video produced by 'Umar Studio, the media outlet of Tehrik-i Taliban Pakistan (TTP; Taliban Movement of Pakistan). Al-Balawi, who is usually called by his jihadi-takfiri magazine pen-name, Abu Dujana al-Khurasani (Khorasani), sits alongside TTP leader Hakimullah (Hakeemullah) Mehsud (on the left). The part of the video used in the Gadahn video is al-Balawi's statement, made in English, that the "mujahideen" (warriors of faith) will "never forget" their prisoners, such as the convicted Pakistani-American Aafia Siddiqui. Gadahn's list of demands follows familiar patterns in his past ... From: IslamistAnalysist Views: 0 0 ratings Time: 24:45 More in Science & Technology

Posted on Mon. Sep. 26, 2011 - 12:01 am EDT RSS E-mail VIEW COLUMNLocals among thousands in Washington to mark Peace Corps' 50th anniversary By Faith J. Van Gilderfvangilder@news-sentinel.com Thousands of people – many wearing woven hats, batik shirts, silk saris, striped serapes and other colorful attire from around the world – gathered in Washington, D.C., on Sunday for a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and a parade of flags across Memorial Bridge to the Lincoln Memorial. It was the culmination of a weekend of festivities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the United States Peace Corps.

Terry Dougherty, a senior programmer analyst at IPFW, served 1973-74 in Afghanistan. He and his wife, Margie, joined with 65 returned volunteers at an Afghan restaurant called Bamian to relive memories and gathered with a group of about 135 at the Afghanistan embassy. On Saturday they went to a bazaar and a panel discussion with the first three Peace Corps Afghanistan directors. In Fort Wayne, Dougherty is president of Friends of Afghanistan; works with School of Leadership Afghanistan (SOLA), which brings students to the U.S. to study in high school and college; and also is involved with the Indiana Center for Mideast Peace.Dougherty said his Peace Corps experience continues to influence his work and volunteerism through ”a desire to understand international circumstances and to help educate and influence Americans to engage in peaceful solutions to world problems.”

Al Qaeda - Who Are We, Why We Fight, Steps Towards Peace (3/3)

"Legitimate Demands 2 - Barack's Dilemma" By Adam Yahya Gadahn, this is reiteration of the position of al Qaeda Jihad Org on the steps towards peace that should be taken: 1. You must pull every last one of your soldiers, spies, security advisors, trainers, attaches, contractors, robots, drones and all other American personnel, ships and aircraft out of every Muslim land from Afghanistan to Zanzibar. 2. You must end all support -- both moral and material -- to Israel and bar your citizens from traveling to Occupied Palestine or settling there, and you must impose a blanket ban on American trade with the Zionist regime and investment in it. Your security will not be improved by empty threats like those your special envoy made about the possible suspension of American loans, in and of itself a largely meaningless gesture. As Shaykh Usamah told you, if you don't heed our warnings and stop your support of Israel, we will have no choice but to continue to use other ways to get our message across. 3. You must stop all support and aid -- be it military, political, economic or otherwise -- to the hated regimes of the Muslim world. Hillary Clinton's Brother Recieved $400K For Bill's Drug Dealer Presidential Pardons

22 February 2001 ...... There's more controversy about the pardons issued by Bill Clinton during his last days in office. It's emerged he pardoned two clients of his brother-in-law Hugh Rodham - and that Mr Rodham profited from the deal because he'd been paid to lobby on their behalf. Hugh Rodham's involvement in a payment-for-pardon scandal is not the first time he has brought embarrassment to his big sister, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and her husband, the ex-President. Rodham and another brother, Tony, infuriated the White House in 1999 when it was revealed they were involved in an $118 million deal to export hazelnuts from the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. The deal involved a Georgian opposition leader who said it showed President Clinton supported him. That angered Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze, a US ally. "Normally, we excuse the Ralph Kramden-Ed Norton schemes of greedy first in-laws trying to trade on the family name," the GOP national chairman said at the time. "But these two hazelnuts didn't fall too far from the family tree." Hugh Rodham also made the Clintons wince when he was part of a group of lawyers who squeezed their way into talks between cigarette companies and state attorneys general in 1996 to settle lawsuits against Big Tobacco. The lawyers stood to earn millions, but the deal collapsed, partly because Rodham's role upset Republicans in Congress. Who's Your Favorite President And Why?

Leave a comment letting me know who your favorite president is! Lyrics: Let's start out where our country begun, With a badass dude called Washington, Battled the red coats, you know who won, And you know that he's legit cause he's on the one. Up next, John Adams, number two on the list, He supports a national bank cause he's a federalist. Alex Hamilton opposed him and you know that he got pissed, He appointed midnight judges, and I think you got the jist. Tom Jefferson, a real important dude, Who wore a powdered wig and kept his mouth shut when he chewed, He bought Louisiana cause he's super effing shrewd, And he slept with all his slaves when he was in the mood. James Madison is our number four. In 1812, he won a war. To the union, he added states galore. Wrote the constitution, that's why I adore him. Skip a few years and it's Andrew Jackson, The federal debt, he reduced it a ton, The electoral college, he wanted it done, And the Native Americans, he did shun. Who's your favorite president and why? Who's your favorite president and why? It is this guy? This guy? This guy? This guy? Who's your favorite president and why? Who's the man? it's Franklin Pierce. As Tyra might say, he's super fierce, For slavery, he gave three cheers. He loved manifest destiny and pioneers. Old Abe Lincoln rarely shaves, His beard and his hat gets all the babes, In 1863, he freed the slaves, He won the civil war, and it's our country that he saves. Dennis Kucinich: "You Can't Secure Our Nation With LIES!"

Dennis Kucinich, the liberal Ohio politician who made two failed White House campaigns, fought Tuesday in the Democratic primary to keep his seat against the toughest, best-financed challenger in his 12-year congressional career. Although the presidential primary commanded most of the nation's attention, Kucinich's race was the best known congressional contest on ballots in Ohio and Texas. Other races included three veterans of the Iraq war seeking congressional nominations in Ohio and a battle for the nomination to challenge Sen. John Cornyn in Texas. Voters in one Vermont community approved a measure calling for the arrest of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. For years, the 61-year-old Kucinich has won re-election by margins of up to 75 percent in a reliably Democratic district. But after sensing early that Joe Cimperman was a formidable opponent, Kucinich abandoned his presidential campaign on Jan. 25, months earlier in the race than he did in 2004, when he also was polling in low one-digit numbers. Joe Cimperman, a Cleveland City Council member and former Kucinich admirer, raised nearly $500000 and landed high-profile endorsements from the mayor and the city's daily newspaper. Petraeus Betrays US Again

wibi.us Now the Mosque supporters want to limit the freedom of religion of Christians? Our soldiers should be protecting us, we should not limit our civil liberties to protect the soldiers. If our military was doing what it should be doing.... bombing and killing the enemy instead of acting like the Peace Corps.... how could it be that American civilians would be putting the soldiers in danger? If there truly were a real threat to soldiers lives then the question remains... why are we sending ground troops? we should commence bombing all Islamic targets immediately if what Petraeus is claiming is true. Sometimes I have to conclude that the one offense a man can do in this world that is unforgivable is to be weak. I say with conviction: The cause of righteousness has never been stronger and the argument of totalitarianism has never been weaker. Israel is not the one who is scrambling in panic. It's enemies are. I have never felt more optimistic then at our darkest hour. When our enemies have to hide behind a US general to discipline civilians. you know they are getting desperate. Once in Afghanistan Peace Corps Vaccinators

Jill Vickers, and Jody Bergedick Afghanistan PCVs Once in Afghanistan This new, feature-length documentary is the story of the female volunteers working on smallpox vaccination teams in Afghanistan in 1969 and 70. One of the women, Jill Vickers, co-produced and edited this depiction of how the vaccinators found their way and what impressions have endured. She and Jody Bergedick released "Once in Afghanistan" through the generosity of Group 15 members and their friends. It's available for public showings with Q&A led by members of the group and is for sale on DVD. All profits go to NGOs working in Afghanistan. SYNOPSIS: "We walked in on weddings, on funerals - whatever was going on - and vaccinated everyone." Group 15 volunteers were members of Afghan male smallpox vaccinator teams in 1969 and 1970. The women's stories with their photographs bring that time of relative peace and prosperity to life. Travel with them to remote areas meeting incredible hospitality as well as open resistance to the vaccination program. The movie takes you behind the high compound walls to a place where people of completely different backgrounds could recognize one another in spite of their differences. In a world in which messages of hate travel faster than ever before, this is a message of understanding. From: terrydough Views: 606 3 ratings Time: 01:30 More in Nonprofits & Activism

Richard Holbrooke over Taliban en Islam in Pakistan

Mr Holbrooke discomments on Taliban and Islam (eng) / en in het Nederlands: luister naar de onwijze woorden van deze vertegenwoordiger van het vrije westen. Pakistan is in battle with the Taliban and many people living there flee the Swat valley, a good moment for Richard Holbrooke (the US envoy to Pakistan) to let us know who to blame: the Taliban and AlQuaida or better said Muslims and their religion. This is a nice piece of Islam bashing without doing it. I'm sure many positive comments will show approval and Muslims will be upset about mr Holbrooke, looking forward for comments that tell how evil the message is, how clearly he states that the Taliban (Islam) is bad and the world will be pleased when the us attacks (again) or obliterates the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan. From: jacobvision Views: 435 3 ratings Time: 00:26 More in News & Politics

America Needs Compulsory National Service

Today in Iraq and Afghanistan our national efforts at war and peace are unfortunately in the hands of surprisingly few brave men and women. This is not the way it ought to be. All Americans should be required to take part in war, peace, health services, and care for poor and aged through compulsory national service via military, Peace Corps, and AmeriCorps-like agencies. McCain: Town Hall 5/5/08

John McCain Town Hall Charlotte, NC 05/05/08 TRANSCRIPT: JOHN MCCAIN: I think I can convince a majority of Americans that we face this transcendent challenge. The good news is, and by the way I think the president of the United States deserves some credit, for the fact that there has not been another attack on the United States of America since 9/11. I think he would probably be getting the blame if there had been and obviously that leads to a bit of complacency. But I think that as a leader you have to keep emphasizing to the American people the nature and the pervasiveness of this threat. We are in two wars, Afghanistan and Iraq and both of those wars we have young Americans in harm's way. In Afghanistan things are not going as well as we wanted it to-, wanted to for a variety of reason. There's great uncertainty as to what the new government of Pakistan is going to do in relation to the Taliban, particularly on the borders of Pakistan and Afghanistan. So I think that, I'm not sure I agree with the the 30-40% number, but I could I also tell you that on 9/11 I wouldn't've told the American people to take a trip or go shopping. I would've told them to serve this country, join the Peace Corps, join the military, join Americorps, join neighborhood volunteer organizations to make sure our neighborhoods are safe and secure, join, join, join and serve, serve this country, serve a cause greater than your self interest. And I think the American people would've responded very ... From: IssueAlliance Views: 56 0 ratings Time: 02:00 More in News & Politics
