The end of my service is coming to a close. In fact, it is charging towards me at an incredible rate of speed. There is nothing I can do, except pretend to know what is going on as I scramble to get things done before I get on a plane at the Chisinau airport for the last time.

The camping aspect was canceled, due to rain, but I managed to squeeze about 14 people into my apartment. The night went without a hitch, except for two instances. I sit in my apartment with the sun streaming in through the window, sipping my Indian style tea and think about the winter long, brutal and cold. Today is the national Russian army day which, in other words, translates into national mens' day. While we are not in Russia and I am not a Moldovan or Russian citizen I was still given a pair of socks, in honor of this glorious occasion.

At the moment, I am sitting in an Andy's Pizza in Cahul, Moldova. The plan for the day was to meet up with a friend and spend the day waiting for more friends, but the friend in question is home sick. This leaves me in quite a predicament, because my last bus to Cahul was at 9:25 this morning and now I have a whole day of nothing to do, until the second set of friends comes by...
What is the Den? The den is my room, where I sit and do a whole lot on my computer. I took the week off of running, for my ankle and the cold conditions (my face almost fell off on Sunday), and I've been spending a lot of time in the den. I've gotten quite the workout routine going with push ups, sit ups, arm raises (using a dictionary) and squats.
Back to the computer though; I would die witho...
