So, I'm off to Washington D.C tomorrow and then on to Malawi on Saturday. The adventure is finally starting for me. I am so nervous right now, I can barely keep a solid train of thought together. I am excited and scared and its all wrapped up in an emotional ball so tight that I can't unravel it right now. I guess that is part of the fun. I will try and keep my blog up to date. Please leave comments or write me when ever you have the chance. Zicomo!

Here is a link with some pictures I have taken. Nothing too crazy. I will update my pictures again soon. I went to harlem and time square tonight. I have to say that harlem is definitely my favorite place in New York. The buildings are awesome and the people are really nice. I felt really safe their even at night.

So I finally recieved my placement from the peace corps. I will be going to Malawi to do environmental and agricultural work. Malawi is a small, landlocked country in south east africa. It shares a border with Tanzania and is located in Africa's great rift valley. It is one of the poorest, if not the poorest country in the world. I am very excited right now. I have to say though, that most of my attention is focused on Israel right now. I feel much more comfortable right now about my trip. Everything is coming together extremely well. I have almost all of my stuff and I feel good. I felt a little out of control of my life earlier in the week, but I have found that I am exactly where I want to be. Life is good. Hopefully my next blog will be from Israel.
