Hey guys.

Since I've been out of the country for more than 21 months to date, it's acceptable to say that I've missed out on certain trends, technology, and other interesting examples of "American life." For instance, I hadn't really even heard of weblogs before today. Well, maybe I had heard of it once or twice but didn't really think that it was something that people actually do.

However, when you add in my over-inflated ego, sense of self-importance, and prolific word base (now being augmented daily with Spanish slang), a weblog appears to be the perfect place to feel more (and yet, less) connected with my friends and family -- and the rest of you free-loaders who think that you'll gain some meaning in life from the divinely inspired thoughts that come from my mind. Guess what? You probably will.
