It was a little chilly when I was getting ready for work this morning, so I decided to wear a jaunty cap. Then Amelia dressed herself.
Something I’ve learned about myself these last 14 months, I can’t wrap my head around the work I’m doing unless there is a chart or drawing involved; big projects require pages and pages. On a related note, my favorite thing about the Peace Corps is that I get out of it exactly what I put in. Sure there are obstacles and difficulties, but, if I work a little harder and a little smarter, I can usually figure things out.

After a few American beers and a mojito or two (made with actual Bacardi!), we decided to get a picture with the US Ambassador and Marian Lupu, the former Communist Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament/current Alliance candidate for President of Moldova.
I would be hesitant to post this picture, except everyone looks as awful as I do. I hope someone else took a better photo.
A Melissa and me in Odessa in April, it was cold. I’m going back for two days in July for a little break from the insanity that is summer.
Hopefully I will have a new camera with which to take new pictures soon.
