Hello everyone out there...I can hardley believe that I am even here! I know I am in a foreign country because the people drive so much worse here than they do in West Virginia.

I have travelled to the Dominican Republic, Jamaica (through the Amizade program out of PIT), and Niagara...but, it really does feel different to be on a different continent. Africa truly is a very different place. The Domincan Republic has beautiful white sands, but the resorts shelter people from what is true in the country. The people are very poor, but very nice. Jamaica has wonderful countrysides with people with the greatest hospitality. Niagara, Canada is increadable because there are people there from everywhere. It almost feels like I am in a location for the United Nations, simply because there are so many nationalities represented there.

As for Guinea... I just got here a few days ago and can't believe how hot it is...but I have to say, it's very cultural here. The people are amazing, and sure do cook lots of fish. Good thing, I don't mind them with heads on them. I will keep adding to this as time goes on, but this is a beginning of a big adventure for me. I'll keep this and myspace updated....
