Chillin at Miami international. It's been really stress relieving to get down here and meet people. The orientation they did yesterday was cool and way more specific than anything thus far. That said, it wasn't specific by any kind of practical standard. Also I just saw a bunch of people getting on a plane from Miami to la And the were all really attractive and well dressed. I kind of can't think of anythnig cooler than flying from Miami to la. It seems like you would have to be sexy to do that. So thats tight.

currently I have few thought that i feel like sharing but I am consuming an amazing amount of media. i find it can at times point me in the direction of inspiration

"The frosting was still frozen—nearly inedible. The box said to thaw the cake in the fridge at least three hours before serving, but I didn't feel like waiting. I also didn't have a fridge in my car. So I set the cake on the floor of my Nissan Altima, blasted the heat, and waited impatiently for about 10 minutes. That would have to do."

SO the form president of Honduras was deposed (10 or so months ago) for a number of reasons but some of his actions suggested he was aligning with Hugo Chavez...so i read a book on chavez which i probably should have done before now but whatever... here are some quotes i liked

"a man known for moving nimbly through the terrain of ideological ambiguity"

-Christina Marcana

"He would subvert civil protocol every chance he could, he would always take care to toe the line to some degree.

-Christina Marcana

"Though all versions of what happened that day seem to accept the hypothesis that there were indeed sharpshooters positioned on the top floors of certain buildings, the opinions diverge when it comes time to lay blame, and both sides accuse each other of having been responsible for the sharpshooters..."

-Christina Marcana

"you go on deceiving the people saying that you are staring the bla bla bla revolution"

-Luis Miquilena

Also the banana trade has shaped a lot of Honduras' history in the 20th century...so i started this book about Bananas...

"...it was probably a banana leaf, rather than a fig leaf, that Adam and Eve wore in the garden of eden to hide their shame."

-Peter chapman

"One person was arrested for fornication, with no indication as to with whom..."

-Peter chapman

"keith was at least keeping the flame burning in the jungle proper, out on the system's periphery where the pure spirit of capitalism could flourish in line with the forces of nature."

-Peter chapman

(when facing a firing squad) "don't bury my body! so the buzzards can shit me on your heads"- Lee Christmas

"All that was happening was that the control of a small and largely unknown country's affairs was passing from the hands of a large US banking house to an aspirant bunch of Banana Men"

-Peter chapman

"an absurdly moralistic stance on international affairs"

-Peter chapman
