I am preparing to leave to the Kyrgyz Republic in 6 weeks. This is my second time going through the roller coaster of what a Peace Corps volunteer goes through preparing for this huge adventure. I was set to leave for Turkmenistan the end of September. I made it to staging in Philly along with 44 other people. We were getting through our first ice breaker when we were interrupted with the life changing news that the Turkmen government has rejected us entry so we had to come home. Talk about a mind-bender! So I have been back for about 5 months and I am so happy that I had this rare experience. It has seriously been like a second chance to make memories and prepare a little more, in ways that I didn't even think about before. This has all been divine intervention. Now going to the Kyrgyz Republic I feel so confident and truly happy. This country is where I was praying to be placed. So I really feel like this is where I am supposed to be going. I have joined the Peace Corps because the idea of it settled in my heart with out any doubt. This is where and what I meant to be.
